The organisation Nanotechnology News Network started in 2005 and acts as a webportal and consultancy on nanotechnology and nanobusiness in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and other countries. Kind of collaboration Nanoforum and the Nanotechnology News Network aim to support academic and industrial researchers looking for partners and funding opportunities for international collaborations in nanotechnology. To enable this, both organisations publish a link, description of the organisation and regularly updated news and events about the other organisation on their webportal. Proposed projects should have a robust scientific base, clear vision of possible applications, and economic evaluation. Authors should include details of what they need to carry out the project and how the Nanotechnology News Network can assist them. Project application is virtual, but winners are honoured at a ceremony in Moscow, Russia. Winners will receive valuable prizes and get the opportunity to work in companies in the Nanotechnology News Network group.
