innovation. Public-private centres offering wide support The Flemish Microelectronics Research Centre IMEC supports SMEs in
nanoelectronics. The Materials Centre of the Flemish Institute for Technological
Research offers support to SMEs in nanomaterials. The Belgian Ceramic Research Centre offers support for SMEs in (nano)
ceramics. The interfaculty centre for biomaterals at the University of Liege assists
SMEs in R&D projects. The department of research administration of the University Faculties of Our
Lady of the Peace is responsible for valorisation of R&D results including
for the benefit of SMEs. Regulatory and legislative agencies The Belgian Institute for Normalisation collaborates in the European
Normalisation Institute CEN. Centexbel is a Belgian Trade alliance for the textile industry. Their Textile
Research Centre offers support to SMEs including on nanotechnology. The Flemish Microsystems and Nanotechnology Network MINT brings together the
microsystems and nanotechnology community in Flanders. The Wallonian nanotechnology network aims to connect academic and industrial
