"An Introduction to Quantum Computing" has been published by Nanoforum. Quantum computing is expected to revolutionise the way we process and communicate information (at some point this century!). The report can be downloaded here.
Nanoforum has published its 10th report "Nanotechnology and Civil Security". Written for a wide audience, it covers devices and applications for detection, protection and identification, as well as discussing the societal issues surrounding security research. It can be downloaded here.
Nanoforum has produced a Nanotechnology Education Tree which is designed to give an introduction to nanotechnology applications in health, the environment, energy, electronics and modern life. It also provides information on some of the societal implications of nanotechnology, some of the myths and a timeline of some of the key nanotechnology developments.
